The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that your child be seen at the following ages for well child care:
Within two to three days after hospital discharge (unless the hospital has recommended a visit sooner than this), two weeks of age (unless there are conditions that necessitate a visit sooner than this), one month, two months, four months, six months, nine months, one year, 15 months, 18 months, two years, two and a half years, three years and then annually thereafter. It is customary to schedule your child's checkup around the time of the birthday but this is not mandatory. There is typically high demand in June and August due to school/sports/camp requirements, and our evening appointments also fill up sooner than other time periods, so we recommend that you call early for any of these times.
